Maby final version of animation. Haven't found anyone to comment but I can live with it as it is. Just have to make the gun extension now and I can drop this into the cut.

Also made a cloud. It's for the car -> plane transition. I had to run around the whole building to see if all volumetric render guys had gone home so I didn't took someones spot on the renderfarm. The weird colors are there because I render one light using one color channel so I can seperate them in comp. Here's green rim ligt, blue's back light and red the main light.

Connectivity can use previously placed paths, thus skipping adding more doors if there's an existing path. Here the top right room doesn't need to add a door to hallway as it can use the center public room's access.

Designing chaos and fragmentation

Did some schematic sketches on how those " chaospheres " can be constructed. Some kind of complex animatable shape in the center will be generated from a single surface or curve. This will then be covered by a turbulent shell of wires. Like a mechanical crystal ball. Obviously I need to explain this through some images ASAP. Before going deeper in the design issues I wanted to test the connection between complex lines in closeup and full framed. Check the result here. I feel that the complexity disappears when zooming out so if one want to feel the turbulence in such design you would have to put some extreme closeups to it. When looking from further away it should probably be more turbulent to hide the structure thus making it more mysterious. In larger contexts I thought of making my work shorter but more intensive. Individualism goes again

The parallel between today's electronic hype and the Italian futuristic movement from about 100 years ago is too obvious to miss. They're both built around the love for the machine, symbols of contemporary urban life, individualistic to the core, denounces all previous culture, pushing for abstraction, driven by a vision of progress and both very middle class inventions. So when a singer perform a hundred year old piece "The Storm", made up by vocal puffs, whalings accompanied with chrashes and clonks my memory bank really get a filing problem of type "Where and when is what". When I was born there was baby computers in the room, we have since grown up together. It's only a sympathetic gesture to embrace them but I was asked to do so. The society needed us to pick up those keyboards and there were people working on making sure we were first to do so.
